Saying hello to clubs in our region

As we start our preprations to return to some form of normality, yesterday we reached out to clubs across the Glasgow & North Strathclyde regional area to say hello.

We are starting to plan our group activities for when restrictions allow us to run our events, so we are keen to get back in touch with our regular players and introduce ourselves to other clubs in the area that may not know of us.

If you didn’t hear from us and live within our regional area, it means you aren’t currently affiliated with Badminton Scotland. Affiliation is very easy — simply go to Badminton Scotland’s website to find out how.

We wanted to drop you a quick note of hello, to introduce ourselves to you — we are the Glasgow & North Strathclyde Badminton Group.

You may have heard of us before, or this may be the first time. Our regional area covers the Glasgow, East Dunbartonshire, West Dunbartonshire, and Argyll & Bute councils areas.

We have been passed your details from Badminton Scotland as you are either currently, or have recently been, affiliated to Badminton Scotland and falling within our regional area.

As badminton starts to reopen following the restrictions being eased for the coronavirus pandemic, we are starting to plan our activities that take place across the year. We will be keeping you up to date on what’s happening from the group.

In the meantime, we just wanted to say hello and to invite you to get in touch. We would love to hear from you, and to hear what you want to hear about! You can get in touch through a number of different ways:
