Coaches are essential for teaching and developing players at every level of badminton. Badminton Scotland run an extensive coaching programme and support regional groups with this.

We welcome interest in joining our committee as a volunteer, or taking on a committee role such as group secretary, minute taker, finance or coaching.

We work closely with Badminton Scotland to find volunteer match officials — such as referees, umpires and line judges — for all our competitions.

We always need additional volunteers to help us run our events, such as junior leagues, senior competitions, the Glasgow International Youth Badminton tournament and many more.

Roles at these events include front of house, match control and hall maintenance.

We’re always looking for individuals with a flair for photography to help take pictures at our events and prize givings so we can use the pictures to share stories of badminton across Glasgow, North Strathclyde, Scotland and beyond.

To help us to reach current and new audience members, we look for enthusiastic individuals with a creative flair in social media skills and website building.

We look for sponsorship for our activities to support all levels of badminton across the Glasgow and North Strathclyde area.
